Ten people were arrested, and three Seattle police officers suffered minor injuries during narcotics operations in Belltown and Little Saigon on Monday night, according to authorities.
The Seattle Police Department’s (SPD) Narcotics Unit seized methamphetamine, fentanyl, and crack cocaine, along with $1,500 in cash. Officers also impounded two vehicles.
“Patrol officers and detectives in the Narcotics Unit conducted the operations to address community complaints in these West Precinct neighborhoods,” SPD said in blog post.
“It’s no secret that (in) Belltown, Little Saigon (and) downtown there’s areas and pockets where there is drug usage and drug prevalence,” Seattle Police Detective Eric Muñoz told KIRO Newsradio. “
Among those arrested was a 21-year-old fugitive from California.
