A Powerball ticket holder won $1 million in Monday night’s lottery drawing from a ticket purchased at a Vancouver 7-Eleven.
The 7-Eleven was located at 9701 E Mill Plain Boulevard in Vancouver.
Since June, several Washington residents have won Powerball lottery prizes. The state of Washington has had winners cash in more than $3.5 million in lottery winnings. In addition to the $1 million prize, one Washington resident won $500,000 on July 28 after buying a lotto ticket from an Arco in Bonney Lake. Another person won $100,000 while seven $50,000 prizes have been awarded.
The announcement comes ahead of Wednesday night’s Powerball jackpot, which is valued at $526 million, according to the Washington Lottery.
“Since the last jackpot was hit on May 31, Powerball has produced more than 293,000 prizes for winners across the state, totaling more than $3.5 million,” Washington Lottery stated. “These include 10 large prizes ranging from $50,000 to $1 million, including eight won in the month of August alone.”
The next Powerball jackpot will be drawn at 7:59 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 13.
