If you’re planning a trip to the Washington State Fair this year, you’ll need to bring more than just your appetite; you’ll need a well-stocked wallet.
On a recent episode of “The Gee & Ursula Show” on KIRO Newsradio, the hosts highlighted just how expensive a trip to the fair has become, warning listeners to be prepared for high costs.
According to a report from FOX 13, the cost of a fair visit can add up quickly. For an average couple, it’s nearly $200. For a family of four? Expect to spend upwards of $300.
“Three hundred dollars for a family to go to the Puyallup Fair, that’s crazy. That’s nuts,” co-host Gee Scott said. “And this is what’s happening to a lot of working-class families across the country. They can’t do simple things like that anymore. They have to make a choice.”
