A homemade airplane made an emergency landing in a Kitsap County driveway Monday afternoon.

The small plane landed in the 10100 block of Olalla Valley Road Southeast, the Kitsap County Sheriff’s Office reported.

No one on the ground was injured, and neither was the pilot.

However, the home-built aircraft was damaged in the crash.

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is investigating the incident.
