Gee Scott backs Marjorie Taylor Greene’s call for politicians to put people over party

In a recent statement, U.S. Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene expressed her dissatisfaction with the Affordable Care Act and the Republican Party’s failure to address rising premiums, stating that “not a single Republican in leadership has given us a plan to help Americans deal with their health insurance premiums.”
KIRO host Gee Scott agreed with Greene in the sense that politicians should support the American people as a whole, rather than one specific political party, claiming he looks forward to politicians “caring more about the [American] people than party lines.”
“They’re trying to protect Americans from having the working class, which is a majority of America, have their insurance premiums double,” Gee said on “The Gee and Ursula Show” on KIRO Newsradio. “When Marjorie Taylor Greene comes out and gives a warning saying, ‘I am not being loyal to this,’ She’s not being loyal to one party; she’s not loyal to Trump. Do people tend to listen more to that?”
