Two armed suspects are on the loose after allegedly stealing a car from two 20-year-olds and holding them at gunpoint Monday in Rainier Valley.
At approximately 11:31 p.m., Seattle Police Department (SPD) officers responded to an armed carjacking in the 3200 block of Rainier Ave. S. in a Rainier Valley neighborhood, SPD reported.
As law enforcement arrived at the scene, a 20-year-old man was contacted by SPD. The male victim told SPD he had been sitting in his parked car with a 20-year-old female passenger when two armed suspects approached his car.

He said both suspects were armed with handguns. One suspect opened the passenger side door and pointed a gun at the female victim.
The second suspect opened the driver’s side door and pointed a gun at the male victim, demanding that both victims exit the car.
The male victim told officers he attempted to push the firearm away and start his car, but he was pulled out of the car by his collar.
Moments later, the two suspects fled northbound in the victim’s car. The two victims ran to a nearby business to call 911.
The male noted his car contained a black security uniform and additional equipment. The female victim reported that her purse, containing a phone and identification, was inside the car.
SPD noted that neither victim suffered injuries from the incident. Law enforcement conducted a search throughout the area, but did not locate the stolen car.
SPD did not release the make or model of the stolen car. Both suspects remain at large as of this reporting.
