The southbound light rail train became stuck underground between SODO and Beacon Hill.
According to one passenger aboard, the train has been stalled for approximately 15 minutes.
“Unfortunately, we can’t get out. We’re all stuck inside,” the passenger told KIRO 7. “I think there’s, at least, I don’t know, 20-some odd people just on this car alone. Not super full, because they dump most of the people around the college and stuff coming southbound.”
The power has been turned off, while the emergency lights have turned on.
This is a developing story, check back for updates
