Issaquah’s Front Street reopens after fatal single-vehicle collision near I-90

Front Street in Issaquah has reopened in both directions from the north to south on-ramps following a fatal collision early Tuesday morning.

At approximately 2:45 a.m., Eastside Fire and Rescue (EFR) responded to reports of a single-vehicle collision on Front Street into the I-90 overpass, EFR announced.

Road closures after fatal collision in Issaquah

The Issaquah Police Department (IPD) previously advised travelers to use alternate routes.

The City of Issaquah stated that the road “will be closed for some time,” and also urged commuters to seek alternate routes.

EFR noted the investigation has been turned over to IPD.

No information has been released regarding the cause of the collision.
