ICE ‘creating a lot of fear’ following Issaquah arrest, says AG

In Issaquah last week, federal agents followed a mother from the highway to her child’s preschool and detained her right outside the door.
“It’s incredibly damaging to public safety,” Attorney General Brown. “It’s creating a lot of fear… and I think we need to do more to keep people safe.”
Brown expressed deep concern about the tactics used in the arrest during a segment on the “Gee and Urusla Show” on KIRO Newsradio.
Brown went on to explain that while immigration enforcement is a federal responsibility, the manner in which it’s being carried out matters deeply. His office is now pushing for stronger protections for immigrant families and workers across Washington.
