Heather has covered stories including the Orlando Pulse Nightclub shooting, the Boston Marathon bombing and trial, and the devastating EF-5 tornado in Joplin. She traveled to Sri Lanka to cover relief efforts after the deadly 2004, Indian Ocean earthquake and tsunami.
