A dog in Pierce County was rescued from its owner after a Ring Camera filmed a man allegedly abusing the dog on Friday.
Pierce County Animal Control received the initial report, along with Ring Camera footage, of a man punching and kicking a small dog, the Pierce County Sheriff’s Office (PCSO) announced.
The man appears to be abusing the dog in the front yard of a residence, and can be seen lifting the dog by its fur while punching it.

On Oct. 18, Animal Control obtained a warrant and seized the dog from its alleged abusive owner.
The dog was taken to a nearby veterinarian, who reported no major injuries.
The Humane Society later took custody of the dog and will keep it there until the owner posts bond and a judge reviews the case.
PCSO noted that no arrests have been made at this time.
