Suspect escapes on scooter after Capitol Hill knife attack

A suspect who stabbed a 42-year-old man in Capitol Hill remains on the loose after he fled the scene on a scooter on Thursday.
At 10:21 p.m., Seattle Police Department (SPD) officers responded to a stabbing near 15th Avenue E. and E. Republican Street, SPD announced.
As officers arrived, they located a victim with a stab wound to his abdomen.
Officers provided medical assistance to the victim until Seattle Fire Department (SFD) crews could arrive and take control of life-saving efforts.
SFD transported the victim to Harborview Medical Center in serious condition.
Capitol Hill stabbing suspect flees via scooter
Before officers arrived at the scene, the suspect fled the area on a scooter and remains at large.
No information regarding the status of the victim was provided.
Homicide and Assault Unit detectives have been assigned to the investigation.
