2.9 magnitude earthquake strikes Canada near San Juan Islands

A 2.9 magnitude earthquake struck Canada near the San Juan Islands on Tuesday morning.
The earthquake struck approximately 7.2 miles northwest of North Saanich, British Columbia, according to USGS.
The Pacific Northwest Seismic Network noted the earthquake was registered at 5:30 a.m. at a depth of 7.7 miles.
A total of 93 people have reported feeling the earthquake to USGS as of this reporting.
There have been no reported injuries caused by the earthquake.
People who felt the earthquake are urged to report it to USGS.
