All lanes on I-90 on Mercer Island have reopened after five-car crash

All lanes on eastbound I-90 have reopened after a five-car crash occurred on Mercer Island early Wednesday morning.
Seattle Fire Department (SFD) crews first responded to the collision just after 6 a.m., reporting that five cars were involved in the crash. One person was trapped inside their vehicle.
SFD crews were able to pull the person out safely, who is now recovering at a nearby hospital in stable condition.
The accident caused significant traffic delays, which reached nearly 50 minutes at one point.
